Privacy policy
We keep only what we need to draw your book, hold your credits, and take payment. We don't sell your information to anyone.
What we store
- Your email address and a scrambled version of your password, so you can sign in.
- Your credit balance, your purchases, and a record of which drawing each credit paid for — so nobody gets charged twice and you can see your history.
- The page descriptions you type and the images we draw for you, so your book stays there while you work on it.
What we never store
Your card number, expiry, or security code. Payment details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Who else is involved
Stripe handles payments and receipts. An AI image service turns your descriptions into drawings — your page descriptions are sent to it to make the picture, and nothing else about your account goes with them. We don't send your data to advertisers.
Cookies and sign-in
We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your balance between visits. There are no advertising or tracking cookies here.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is the only thing that outlives the rest.
Your choices
Email jpeli24@icloud.com to get a copy of what we hold, correct it, or have your account and drawings deleted. We answer within three business days. Deleting your account removes your drawings and profile; unused credits are refunded if you're inside the 14-day window in our refund policy.
Children
J. Lumi Books is a tool for grown-ups who are making books for children. Accounts are for people 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
